Why I Chose To Build A Page On Melanie C:

In the winter of 1995, I was in a depression..so depressed was I that I was voilently suicidal. My parents refused to leave me alone in fear that I'd kill myself. So, later on in the spring of 96 they decided that I should go and stay in London with some friends of mine for the summer. One afternoon she decided that we should go to the Capital Summer Jam to see the new bands that would be there. Well, we went and once there I thought that it was all pretty boring, until a 5 member girl band took to the stage. I was instantly transfixed on the one in the blue sports gear. She seemed diffrent from the others..she was normal looking I guess you could say. Unfortuantely at that time, the girls debut album had yet to be released...so I went home empty handed and waited and waited .....and the rest they say is herstory
